Prologue: Train ASMR The metal tracks shook as the train wisped past, creating an almost melodic sound. The sound of the train, combined with the constant patter of heavy rainfall, created a very pleasant and dominant ambient noise, allowing one to zone out nearly any other sound. The distant sound of voices conversing amongst themselves in the station, the sound of cars honking and children yelling in the distance; these sounds were no longer noticeable.  I believe that there is nothing more unsettling than a train in the middle of the night. One may be inclined to believe that such a fear is widely irrational, since the isolated, claustrophobic interior of a train should lead it to be just as intimidating in the day as it would be at night. However, I have always gotten a certain feeling of inexplicable dread when travelling on a train in the dead of night. As a passenger, when I am in a car near the back of the train, tucked away in a sleeper room, I can't help but wonder what sort of madness goes on that I am completely unaware of. She struggled to her feet and tried to fly again, but she was too weak. She collapsed to her knees trembling. She crawled through the mud and the grass, trying to call out for help, but her voice was drowned out by the vicious wind and rain.
